I'm looking to input for tournaments to be run at GenCon Indy - please take my survey! (link)
GenCon Indy takes place August 5-8th 2010 in Indianapolis IN, USA - visit their website (link) for more info or to register!
A 4-day pass during pre-registration (opens 1/24/10 at 12pm EST, runs through June 19th) is $68, or a One-Day pass is $38.No interest from anybody really, so I won't be going, let alone running anything there.

Is there any interest in a tournament in the greater Seattle/Portland area this summer?

Location: TBD, somewhere in Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR. Dates: 2nd Saturday of July (July 10th). It would start on Saturday morning so if you live far away you would have to spend the night at a hotel or something. Format: Movie Block, Normal X-List/R-list along with Galadriel, Lady Redeemed banned Prizes: Well I could live without them but if you really need prizes, that will raise the entrance fee Entrance Fee: TBD along with location I realize that it is a long ways away but just giving the heads up...

The more time the better. I was also thinking, if the tourny happens, I could front a little cash for a prize. it wouldn't be anything amazing, but I'll keep it a secret and fill you in on the details later. Also, we should call out tournament the Flame of the West competition.

Just a small amendment to the format guys-it will be Black Riders sealed. Still $15 and everyone will still get 2 boosters as prize support, there won't quite be enough Fellowship gear to run a sealed with this time Cheers Honest

I could organize something in Seattle, WA if there's any interest. I've never been to a tournament though so I could use some help I would provide some prizes of some sort... maybe a copy of the LotR trilogy on blu-ray for the winner? I'm open to other ideas too. If anyone's interested let me know.
