You'll sure remember that: A long time ago, you were a noob and had no idea of how good MtG cards really are and made a very stupid trade.
So, here comes my worst trade ever, which I made when I was about 10 years old:

The grandmother of my friend found 2 old MtG boxes from her son, namely from the year 1994, all in german, some of the first MtGs ever released in here. (I was 1 year old when those cards were released, so REALLY old cards!)
And there it was: Tundra, a dream of each MtG player.
But just try to read it's text: "(...)If a spell destroys one of these Land types(...)" what!? I didn't understand anything at all, so I gave it away for a... for a... for a... SEASONED MARSHAL! Doh! Doh! Doh! Doh! Doh!
Oh yes, (ladies and) gentlemen, I gave one of the best freaking MtG cards ever away for a card that does just one thing: suck.
Pfff, I still get angry when I remember that!  Evil Evil Evil

But, no matter what, the trade is over and there's no way to change it. But, I'd like to hear from you. What were your worst Mtg trades ever, when you were noobs? Post your worst trades in here!

Can't recall a specific one, but I'm sure there was a fair share. Recently, on the basis of dire need, I can recall trading a Dark Confidant for a pile of commons/uncommons for building a deck on the spot. I still won the tournament and was able to buy a SET of Dark Confidants, but anyway, it WAS a long shot, and could've turned out terribly bad. And I COULD have built the deck at home, KEEPING my extra Bob... Sad

I havent had any shocking trades, my mates were all pretty fair to me, but I did trade nissa revane for a rare and some uncommons for my vampire deck just before she shot up in price, so got about $5 from the trade and she was worth double that.

Thats about it.

To be honest i've had better deals going for me that against. I traded an abyssal persecutor off a guy for a mana bird and i got another persecutor for like $4 worth of toss rares. I also got a sarkhan vol for a telemin performance, devout lightcaster and another crap rare.

O and i got a lotus cobra off one guy for an underworld dreams!!! And 2 fetch lands for a chandra ablaze.

Thinking about it ive really come out on top of my trading!

I really see the difference: I was 10 years when started playing MtG, so I was "more" a noob cus' I wasn't so good in MtG at all and didn't know all the cards...

But trades for me... puh... many, mayn good trades, let's just take the best example: Elspeth. I gave him a... what was it... Liliana Vess from Lorwyn!?! And others like that, especially in Yu-Gi-Oh!, in which I'm very good in trading.

Most shocking trade I had back in the days (considering how much those cards are worth nowadays)
must be when I traded two of my Blazing Specter for Bazaar of Baghdad Tongue Sweet, eh? LOL!
