Exhaust an minion. For each wound placed in this way, make that minion strength +2.

Ooo interesting, make them enduring and exert them. Seems slightly powerful in potential, maybe cost 2?
Howl of Fury
Event • Maneuver
Exhaust an minion. For each wound placed in this way, make that minion gain terror 1 until the regroup phase.
Victory seemed at hand, when a cry rang out on the heights above.

Way too hard, dont agree with that at all. I wouldnt even say up the cost just change it. That could make some trolls exert you 3 times when you fight. Wrong! Just wrong.
Rabid Host
Event • Shadow
Exert an Orc to play an Warg or mount from your discard pile.
There a host of Wargs came ravening...
H2 U 129
Sound.

How cool is that?! I may have to make a card like that for my Warg-riders.

Maybe make this one cost and/or put a cap on it, since terror could get out of hand.

Sorry, both exhausting cards should say Orc. Any better?

Slightly yeah, i still dont like the idea of exerting twice to gain terror 2 but at least its more balanced, there are no 4 vitality Orcs I know of. Id still up cost to 2 to make it pan out like DI said. |

Warg-Riders could still get a ton of terror with that.
Maybe up the cost to . Neat cards, though. |

I like it. the lore is from the books(Ie appendixes, thus should be put in quote

these are getting interesting

Cool.
(and yes this lore is not from the Hobbit, but it is a foreshadowing of things to come... )

Odd...but cool. I like it. Especially on a fierce orc.

Exerting kinda counters the point. Oh well.
Leading us nicely into our next theme (and the last of this culture), which is the Wargs. Next time.

I never use quotation marks on my quotes because I never use a lore that isn’t from the books. If I can’t find a good lore, I simply don’t put one on the card.
NBarden wrote: Exerting kinda counters the point. Oh well.
Exactly, which makes it a high cost.
Now onto some Wargs. You may remember from the first set that Orcs liked ambushing with twilight, and Wargs liked to use it. Well, these ravening beasts are no different (we’ve already seen some ambush Goblins).
Furious Warg
Minion • Warg
Str: 8
Vit: 3
Sit: 5
Skirmish: Discard 2 cards from hand to add .
... he leaped in the air ten feet, and then rushed round and round the circle biting and snapping...
H2 C 107
Frenzied Warg
Minion • Warg
Str: 10
Vit: 3
Sit: 5
Each time this minion is assigned to skirmish a character with X wounds, you may spot an Orc to add [X].
Maddened and angry they were... cursing the dwarves in their horrible language...
H2 C 106
This is one of my favourites:
Devouring Warg
Minion • Warg
Str: 7
Vit: 3
Sit: 5
Skirmish: Spot 3 minions and remove (or if you can spot 4 Free Peoples cultures) to wound a companion this minion is skirmishing.
... the Wargs had no intention of going away...

I’d make the third one say: "Skirmish: Spot 2 other minions, exert this minion, and remove to wound a companion this minion is skirmishing (or if you can spot 6 companions)." The first two look great. |
I had to put something here. |
