What was you funniest ever LOTR TCG moment?
Mine would be playing Gothmog, Lieutenant of Morgul at site 9 with 7 sites controlled and seeing the look on my friends face. NPE for him, comedy for me. |

The first time i properly used my mumak commander deck with lackeys. Site 5 played MK with pavise exerted Durin and Gloin twice, 3 lackeys on table and grima. He had 3 threats from a black land chieftan earlier. Sniped gloin exerted every companion with grima. Threats killed off a dwarven warrior so used grima to exert everyone. Left a dwarf warrior durin and gimli exhausted. Sniped durin, sniped dwarf. Swarm gimli. Amusing and all for just 12 twilight. His hand full of skirmish events meant nothing
I need to stop playing this or my journey to the dark side will be complete.... |

This is a skirmish conversation between me and a fellow player:
-Me: 5 and exert Red Wrath.
-Friend: Cancel (Strength of Kings)

-Me: Bye. (Actually picked up and left the store red-faced! |

I had to put something here. |

This brings memories back...
In ol’ good FotR times,ok, we just played it like it was. With old rules, Stealth and so on. My brother and I just built some random decks and played against each other with FotR-Block sites. My Uruks versus his Moria orcs, my rainbow fellowship versus his dwarven team. On Bridge of Khazad-dum, I had not even one! Uruk in hand, but I knew, I had one Balrog in my deck and he gave me exactly the twilight I needed.
Phew, I thought, against this beast not even Gimli can withstand. Whoops, wrong! He had 5! skirmish events in hand and did like 10 wounds to my Balrog. I conceded and left. |

There’s no other elf cards in the deck, so our group lets my brother use this deck. The starting fellowship’s fun.
Gimli, Bearer of Grudges
Dain Ironfoot, King Under the Mountain
Durin III
Dwarf Guard
Dwarf Guard
Dwarf Guard
Dwarf Guard
Galadriel, Lady Redeemed
"Snow White and the 7 Dwarves" |
Never kid about politicians. The more bizarre the joke, the more likely it is to come true. |

Ha! That’s pretty funny. Not a bad starting fellowship, either. Lots of pin cushions. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

There was one time I had 9 Ents in play against a Morgul archery deck. By site 9 I had max threats but had so much vitality on my companions I figured I was safe. Of course, I forgot about Anduin Banks...
There was just enough archery to exhaust every companion with 1 point of archery left over. This killed one companion which started a chain reaction with threats that killed every single one of my nine companions.
Ouch!

Good ol’ Anduin Banks... I played against my little brother’s 9 companion deck, matched against my archery / swarm. 13 archery wounds on him. |
I had to put something here. |
