| In Be Back Soon, if the opponent chooses to prevent the action, does Smeagol still get discarded? Or is that prevented too? |

Discarding Smeagol and adding 1 twilight to the pool is the cost for the effect of discarding a minion.
The comprehensive rules book version 4.0 states in the section on costs:
"If an action is prevented, its effects are ignored but its costs and requirements are still paid."
So Smeagol would still be discarded. |
