Okay, so I was watching RotK and saw the part where Shagrat and Gorbag got into a fight over the Mithril-Coat and drag everyone else into the fight. So that got me thinking....
 •Mithril-Coat, Object of Dispute 
Artifact • Armor
Bearer must be a Ring-Bound Hobbit (except the ring-bearer).
Each minion skirmishing bearer loses all damage bonuses.
Assignment: Exert bearer and spot two minions of the same culture to assign those minions to skirmish each other.
 •Shiny Shirt
Event • Maneuver
Exert two Ring-Bound Hobbits to assign a minion to skirmish another minion. Begin a skirmish phase involving those two minions to suspend the current phase. At the end of that skirmish, resume the suspended phase.

What if both minions have the same amount of strength?

Interesting idea... although, Gorbag and Shagrat are not of the same culture.

Artifact • Armor
Vitality +1.
Bearer must be a Hobbit.
Bearer may not be overwhelmed unless his strength is tripled.
Maneuver: Discard this artifact to assign 2 minions to skirmish each other; the losing minion is discarded. The Shadow player may remove 2 burdens to prevent this. |

make it of different cultures, or maybe races. it would take a LOT of new rulings to clarify every thing about this
