Well...I was looking at possibly building a Forestgul deck. Problem is, I’m not that familiar with some of the newer strategies.

Here’s the general idea of what I need so far.

Lost in the Woods x 4
Dark Approach (MASTERWORKS) x 4 Wink
Ulaire Nelya, Third of the Nine Riders x 4
The Witch-King, Captain of the Nine Riders x 2-4
Ulaire Toldea, Eighth of the Nine Riders x ?
Ulaire Nertea, Ninth of the Nine Riders x ?
Ulaire Toldea, Black Shadow x 2
Shadowy Mount x 4 (to throw minions on the companions with Lost in the Woods)
Hatred Stirred (to shuffle Lost in the Woods back into your deck when all the companions bearing them die.)
Shapes Slowly Advancing (chances are, you have more Nazgul then they have companions, if not, still a good hand clog and stops the double)

I’m assuming any toil Nazgul.

Here’s what I was thinking as a maybe

Ulaire Toldea, Wraith on Wings x ? (Combined with More Unbearable?)

I think that may be how Forestguls work, but I’m not sure. I need a killer strategy to couple my Three Hunter’s deck with, and my Isengard Site Control Swarm isn’t doing to well...

Just for some reference, here is my Forest Gul deck:

(30)
The Witch-King, Captain of the Nine Riders x2
Ulaire Toldea, Black Shadow x2
Ulaire Enquea, Black Threat x2
Ulaire Attea, Second of the Nine Riders
Ulaire Cantea, Fourth of the Nine Riders x3
Black Rider x3
Ulaire Cantea, Black Assassin
Ulaire Nertea, Thrall of the One x2
Ulaire Otsea, Thrall of the One x2
Ulaire Lemenya, Thrall of the One
Moving This Way x2
Lost in the Woods x3
Out of Sight and Shot
Hatred Stirred
Dark Approach x4

It works great and cycles well.

PW

(P.S. - I’ll take any tips as well. Always looking to improve my deck)

How do you ensure that you get forests out? In case you get out bet and the other person makes you go first.

That’s one of the only things you’d have to look at. I’ve paired mine up with a Dwarf/Gandalf Men that controls the site path really well. For your own deck, you might need to do something else.

Yeah...three hunters don’t really rule the sitepath. I have to bid high to get East Wall of Rohan in play...

Which poses another problem. If I run Forests, I wouldn’t be able to run Westfold Village or East wall of Rohan, eh? Well...I’d need east wall of Rohan...

Good point. Missed the part about the 3 hunters (Guess I decided just to go straight to the deck). Hope I gave you some ideas though.

Here is another ref for you, my forest nazgul deck.

4x Dark Approach
4x Lost in the Woods
3x Ulaire Toldea, Black Shadow
4x Ulaire Nelya, Third of the Nine Riders
1x Ulaire Lemenya, Assailing Minion
2x Ulaire Cantea, Thrall of The One
1x Ulaire Cantea, Black Assassin
2x Ulaire Enquea, Black Threat
3x The Witch-king, Captain of the Nine Riders
2x Moving This Way
1x Out of Sight and Shot
1x Hatred Stirred
1x Ulaire Lemenya, Servant of the Shadow
1x Ithil Stone
4x Black Rider
1x Ulaire Otsea, Seventh of the Nine Riders
1x Flung Into the Fray

Nelya is your man to control the site path. Usually he’s enough for me and I don’t need to control the site path with the fellowship side, but since you’re playing three hunters, 4x Well traveled or 4x pathfinder sure wouldn’t hurt. The strategy I play is try to get as many nazguls I can get on the table with 2 dark approach in my hand and 1 in the discard pile to dig with toldea.

I use Flung inyo the Frey specially for the witch king. Common Lemenya is a good way of getting rid of a unique nazgul you won’t play and yet discard a condition, and he’s fierce by the way. You can use moving this way in so many diferent ways, like fetching an extra dark approach or even get rid of your shadow hand to run with your fellowship, this card is just perfect.

Well, that’s it, enjoy!! And post your deck afterwards...

Why 4 dark approach? Couldn’t you just use 3?

Never. Never, never, never. That’s what sets up the whole object of the deck.
