This is a Dream Card contest that centers around artifacts of middle earth. that does not necessarily mean mean the card you will be making will be an artifact. You can be as creative as you like.
each contest will be independent, there will not be rounds. each contest will be centered around one card, and then the cards will be voted on. the author of the winning card receives the (Gold Piece) prize, and the contest is over. i will indicate a new contest by changing what is in brackets in the title.
in the event of a tie, i will re-open voting only on the particular tied cards. if after a second vote there are still tied cards, the gold pieces will be distributed evenly.
anyone can vote, even if they are not in the contest. vote for your three favorite cards in order of most favorite (3 points), second favorite (2 points), third favorite (1 point). the card with the most points wins (is this Pseudo-Australian?). contestants should not vote for their own cards, and when involved in a tiebreaker, may not vote.
cards should be PM-ed to me.
The Arkenstone contest:
when you tell me you want to join, award me one gold piece and indicate by writing how many i had, and then how many i have since you awarded the gp. the winner will recive 5gp this time. after you enter, PM me your card by Saturday the 17th.
For this contest make a card of the arkenstone. show some creativity, and try to be unique.
