Another fighting Saruman!
This one can double-exert to make a companion lose the hunter keyword, thereby giving your own Uruk-hai hunters an edge. When one of those hunters wins a skirmish, Saruman, Curunir can heal another minion -- like, oh I don’t know, Saruman, Curunir. Lather, rinse, and repeat.
OK, not really... You can use Curunir’s skirmish ability twice at most, and that’s only if the opponent’s fellowship is weak or you get a favorable skirmish order. Still, this new Saruman looks pretty good overall. I’d say he won’t always make the cut for Uruk-hai hunter decks, but he’ll certainly merit consideration, especially in combination with his new Throne. |

While he can be powerful, there are still a lot of decks out there that don’t use the hunter keyword, and he becomes pretty much a waste of 4 twilight if you can’t use his skirmish ability. |

hunter swarm anyone? I mean, if they win a good portion of skirmishes, Saruman gets to heal repeatedly and cancel companions’ hunter abilities. And who says he only uses them twice? You can win skirmished against hunter companions. And if two minions win on a defender +1 guys, you can heal him twice. (because both of them won a skirmish)
Definitely a good card. |

his healing ability is OK, but overall i think this is the worst saruman we have seen, Really only good with hunter uruks fighting, 3 hunters. |

He’s easily the worst Saruman of the current generation. I would much rather use Saruman, Agent of the Dark Lord in any deck. |
All cards do what they say. |

*sigh what were they drinking when they made this one?*
The only use i can think of him is as a proxy for Saruman, Agent of the Dark Lord or another Saruman. By proxy, i mean playing this copy and pretending it to be another one........ |

If he was a lurker, he’d be great. But as he is...iffy. I could see him being used in decks, especially with Throne of Isengard (+3 and fierce), but that’s pretty much it. I like his ability, though. The only problem is, can he use it? |

not so cool a card, but makes a sweet combo with. Mahur, Relentless Hunter.
You get to heal him almost each turn, granted another hunter wins a skrimish, and you can assign to whoever you want.
other then that sick combo, i’d choose others |
