I’ve been wanting to learn how to play this game for ages, and I finally mustered myself up to searching the web for rules.
Here they are, so read away if you’re interested. Seems like a pretty complex (in the best of ways) card game. I wish I had more cards for it!

When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

There’s an open source effort at http://gccg.sourceforge.net/ for playing/collecting MECCG. Legality?... but it is an excellent place to talk to people about it and find a game. For anyone new to the game though, I highly recomeend limiting yourself to the first set (The Wizards) until you get the rules down.
If anyone wants to get into it RL, the box of challenge decks (10 different decks ~$30-35) are a good investment if you can still find them.
Note: http://www.meccg.net/ is a good resource too for rules and tournament news. |
