--- description ---
Knights like to help each other out with extra exertions or strength when they win skirmishes, but a big fighter like Grimbeorn never hurt things either. It’s paired with a Besieger shadow that uses a few self-assigning minions.

Strategy, Free Peoples:
Basically, your goal is to get as big as possible as quickly as possible. Hopefully you can get Grimbeorn out quickly so he can beat down whatever comes his way. Otherwise, you’re starting out with 3 7-strength companions, so no big worries off the bat.
Archery will give you some trouble, but there are 3 Saplings in there to slow it down, as well as the healing abilities of Aragorn and Boromir. Don’t for get about the North Undeeps if your fellowship is in a bad way.
Corruption will have some trouble keeping burdens on once Grimbeorn is in play with a Watch and Wait, not to mention the bonuses from Elendil and the Scroll.
Shadow Strategy:
This is designed to be a stopping shadow first and foremost. Get out an engine, an Assassin/Mouth/Bill, and at least 1 "big" minion to force your opponent to make sub-optimal assignments with the remaining "big" minions - if you can get them to do that, then it’s more likely that they will stop, allowing your fellowship more freedom.
Blade decks will give this deck some trouble if you don’t have what you need right away; just try to get rid of the blades as quickly as you can with Grond. Host of Udun will help also, as there’ll be no threats in the maneuver phase for Madril to spot. Last but not least, Fires Raged will keep Madril in check if you can’t find a Host or get rid of the blades.
Let me know what you think! |

personally I think the deck would be better if you just focused on either knights or grimbeorn
I am not experience with besiegers. |
