NBarden wrote: Dark Fell About Him, and Gates of the Dead City is actually pretty easy. Take an exhausted 4 vitality companion, for instance, and that’s 12 exertions with 4x Gates of the Dead City out. If your opponent follows the rule of 5, its pretty easy to exhaust the fellowship. Two copies of Dark Fell About Him would be all you need to throw out 24 exertions, which would almost certainly force them to begin exerting the same companion.
That is one cool idea, but what 6 companions? I guess ulaire enquea, lieutenant of morgul could kill a couple of companions in order to make the rule of 5 fellowship. |

Or if you’re running corruption, exhaust the fellowship with Gates of the Dead City, and out comes enquea with a shadowy mount and ring of rancor to blast away into oblivion 5 companion, and don’t forget the ring of rancor’s text. Pretty soon they will be running a solo deck. |

look for my article coming in the next few days, it’s all about this combo. you guys are following the same train of thought i did with enquea + ring of rancor + shadowy mount. |

Thanks...but that’s how my deck works... Of course I’d follow that train of thought. Get initiative with any card you choose, exhaust them with Ulaire Attea, Wraith on Wings and courtyard Parapet and Gates of the Dead City, then out comes Enquea ready to kill 5 guys. |

oh, cool! i tried to make a deck based around enquea, lieutenant of morgul, but it didn’t work well. my mistake was the fact that i didn’t use gates of the dead city. . |

Do you, or anyone have a full decklist of this type of combo? I would love to see it. |

I gotta to soon, there’s a movie tonight, but I’ll get a decklist up soon. Obviously, it uses 4x Ulaire Toldea, Winged Sentry, Ulaire Attea, Wraith on wings, and ulaire Enquea, Lieutenant of Morgul. I only have 2 copies Enquea, Toldea, and the Gates of the Dead City, and only one copy of Attea, but I managed to kill my brother’s Rohan deck at site 4 with it. |

I have a little time, I didn’t have time to check my actual deck, its not complete anyway, but here’s something I threw together that looks like it would work.
Ulaire attea, Wraith on Wings x 4
Ulaire Enquea, Lieutenant of morgul x 3
Ulaire Enquea, Thrall of the One
Ulaire Toldea, Winged Sentry x 4
Ulaire Otsea, Ringwraith in twilight x 2
Ring of Rancor x 4
Shadowy Mount x 4
Nazgul Sword x 3
Gates of the Dead City x 4
More Unbearable x 2
Blade Tip x 2
Dark Fell About Him x 3
Expanded deck. |
