I personally hNOLINKate Open too...that’s why I want to spread the word about broken combos!
I can’t believe someone hasn’t mentioned Rapid Reload + Demoralized yet!
In fact, I have taken into account the Rapid Reload/Demoralized combo. Soon I will post a decklist on it! |

Oh, come on...Playing against them is fun...You just have to find out a way to beat them, which is super easy, usually |

He has a good point. Don’t play minions, and Infi Gandalf stops dead in its tracks. Use The Palantir of Orthanc, and Infi Gandalf suddenly has problems with initiative gaining.
Demoralized + Rapid Reload? Just knock out a few Demoralized, and you’re fine. |

And Goblin Hordes "shudders" It order to beat Rapid Reload/ Demoralized, you need to simultaneously kill Conditions and Orkish Smith, while surviving until you can nuke Demoralized.
So, wait until they get all their Orkish Smith out, and then drop a Deep in thought.
Or nuke Rapid Reload... |

I found a broken combo, its not infinite, but its broken. Enough burdens, you can go the loop a couple times.
So I’m playing my Nazgul corruption deck, and I just got a few new cards from AC, so I thought I’d try it out against my brother’s Rohan deck. I have Shotgun Enquea in there b/c I don’t have Enquea, TotO. And I’m saving two slots for Ulaire Otsea, Ringwraith in Twilight, so I threw in 2x Gates of the Dead City instead.
And then I come across a creepy combo. I get my 2x Gates of the Dead city in play, and play Ulaire Attea, Wraith on Wings w/ Ring of Rancor, exert him 3 times add three burdens and six exertions. (I don’t like my minions exhausted.) Then I think, geez just use Ring of Rancor’s text, duh. Exert him, another burden, which comes off in maneuver phase to heal him, and then two extra exertions. This happens at site three.
I lose a skirmish, win a skirmish, and throw Attea back in my hand, draw another Ring of Rancor, I have a shadowy mount and Shotgun Enquea in my deck. So, next turn, I get the twilight I need, he still has three of his exertions left, I again have initiative. I play Ulaire Attea, Wraith on Wings, Ring of Rancor, Shdowy mount and add five burden and 10 exertions. I play Shotgun Enquea. Getting to the maneuver phase, I spot the five necessary burdens to drop three companions (all but one companion is exhausted, and he’s running a 9 companion fellowship, with 8 guys out). I then remove three burdens to reload enquea and blast three more companions, he’s got two guys left, one Nazgul goes on the RB and kills him.
I thought of a broken combo here, 4x gates of the dead city in play, Ulaire Attea, Wraith on Wings w/ Ring of Rancor and Shadowy mount. Lose initiative, 16 exertions, then 3 wounds. Ouchness. These two dudes kill three guys in the maneuver, then they slay in the skirmish as well, and are both fierce. So I just though I’d post this combo here.
for AC for trading me the cards I needed! No way I’m pulling Gates of the Dead City out of my deck now. |

If a combo requires seven cards and Shadow initiative, it’s a long way from broken in my book. It’s a very good use of the cards, though. |
