Okay, we don’t have that many cards to work with, so you’ve got a few options. The first one is to enhance Rangers, who are already powerful. You might decide to give them more skirmish events or healing.
The second is to try and bring back the knights of Gondor, or at least some heavy fighters, like Denethor and Aragorn.
Finally, you could toy around with the idea of bringing back wraiths as followers, with a threat-based Aid cost! This would be an especially cool idea, but I don’t know if we’ve got enough cards to pull it off.
Or you could just do something totally different. Captain would be something you’d probably see here, as well as one or two steeled, perhaps? |

I like the ranger idea. Gagnut, do you still want to work on this? With only 8 cards, it’s harder to split the culture, but we can still work something out. |

Gagnut has dropped out (got this info by PM), so I’ll go solo on this culture. As stated before, the strategy for this culture will be Rangers. They will work well against roaming minions.

Anborn is strength +2 for each wound on each roaming minion he is skirmishing (limit +4).

Bearer must be a ranger.
While at a forest site, bearer is an archer.

Companion • Man
Strength: 7
Vitality: 3
Resistance: 7

Archery: Exert Faramir to exert a roaming minion (or to discard a card borne by that minion).

Hmm...he approaches the strength of a berserker, really, due to Madril, Defender of Osgiliath...limit it, perhaps, to +4? Not that you’d have that many minions over 3 Vitality.

Good, the only thing I would change is to make the ability read "...or to discard..."

Yeah, limit +4 sounds good.

If I had mentioned the skirmish itself, then yes I would say that skirmish. But since I hadn’t ever mentioned the skirmish, I have to say this skirmish. See New Errand for an example.
