Okay, it’s time for those nasty orcs! AC and Gagnut are behind this one, so all decisions made by them are final. Don’t forget to pop in and review cards! The Orc culture will have 4 Rares, 6 Uncommons, and 7 Commons.

Here’s a little bit of rambling about the culture...as the Allies of the North theme goes, there’s probably going to be some goblins from Mount Gundabad involved, so possibly some underground action with captains? Gagnut also mentioned wanting to work with Trolls, and a few Trolls would not be amiss here. They’d do excellently if some had steeled. You’ll have to decide just how to divvy up the culture amongst yourselves.

Captain is definitely a possible keyword here, although it’s not as prevalent as in cultures like Rohan.

Alright. It’s definitely a lot easier to only have 1 person working on the cards, but maybe we can have it so that I make the Orcs and Gagnut makes the Trolls. Thoughts? Obviously, the Orcs would get a lot more cards than the Trolls, so Gagnut would have to be okay with not making as many cards.

Oh yeah, I just noticed: PT signed up for Orc trolls, not Gagnut.

I’m thinking we dedicate 5 cards specifically to Orc trolls (PT would make these), and 12 cards for the rest of the Orc culture (I would make these Very Happy).

I’ll continue to add more cards to this post when I think of them, but for now, I think I’ll just do a troll and a condition.

14 •Black-Blooded Brute Orc
Minion•Troll
Strength 20
Vitality 5
Site 5
Fierce Damage +1
When you play this minion, you may heal X companions to make this minion twilight cost -2 for each companion healed in this way.

(I’m thinkin’ this would be rare Wink )

3 Spawn of Mordor Orc
Condition•Support Area
Toil 2
To play, spot an Orc Troll.
Each Orc Troll is strength +1 for each companion over 5.

Thats all I got so far, any thoughts?

PS: Minions can be have Captain too right?

Here’s a few more I cooked up...

1 Troll’s Armor Orc
Posession•Armor
Vitality +1
Bearer must be an Orc Troll.
Each time bearer takes a wound (except during a skirmish) you may exert a companion.

6 Vicious Olog-hai Orc
Minion•Troll
Strength 12
Vitality 3
Site 5
Fierce Damage +1 Toil 1
To play, spot an Orc minion.
Shadow: Discard an Orc minion from play to make the free peoples player exert an unbound companion.
Regroup: Discard an Orc minion from play to make the free peoples player wound an unbound companion.

1 •Cave Troll’s Mace, Wraught of Black Iron Orc
Posession•Hand Weapon
Strength +2
Bearer must be an Orc Troll.
While skirmishing a character with Captain bearer is strength +2.

Suggestions? Comments? Ideas? Think

I like this one seems balabced with the twilight reduction ability.

I don’t get this action do you mean at the START of the regroup phase discard an orc troll or discard this condition? cause otherwise it is optional.

PS: Minions can be have Captain too right?

Cool. I think to make it could be worded slightly better though: "you may heal any amount of companions".

I would drop the regroup cost... after all, it’s not that strong of a card.
