I’m curious: how do all of you bid with burdens? After all, there’s the problem of hiding your bid from the other player, while at the same time avoiding cheating on the part of the bidder. So, do you turn your backs? Hide ’em in your hand? |

Hand-hiding usually works. We just pick up a load of burdens, and keep the ones we want to bid in one of our hands, and just show them at the same time.
Besides, we wouldn’t cheat. It’s just a game, after all. |

Ah, I see. One idea I was tossing around was taking as many burdens as you wanted into your hand, and taking some wound tokens as well. Then you just reveal. |

I just randomly toss tokens in the air and I bid the amount that hits my opponent |

I used to mark burdens with a black 10-sided die (and a black 12-sided die, should the need arise), so I simply put it showing the number of burdens on my R-b, hiding it with my hand. So, I couldn’t alter the number after I had placed it. Of couse, back then Resistance 5, 7, 10 or 12 was as good as it got., so these dies took care of the business. Maybe a 20-sided die? Hehehe |
