To help kick off the new specialized Deck Clinics, I’d like to see some articles about each LOTR TCG tournament format. So, during August and September, if you write an article of this type and it wins 1st or 2nd place that month, you’ll get an extra $5 store credit added to your prize.
Here are some possible questions for authors to think about...
- What are thNOLINKe rules for this format?
- Why might players choose this format over the others available?
- What arNOLINKe the major deckbuilding considerations for this format? (For example, are you more likely to win with your Fellowship or your Shadow? Is corruption a significant threat? Archery? Swarms? Choke? Discard? Condition/possession removal? Large fellowships?)
- What are tNOLINKhe dominant decktypes in this format?
- What are some options for more fun, "rogue" decks?
- If there are sealed deck tournaments, what areNOLINK they like?
- If there are banned or restricted cards, why are they banned or restricted?
Cheers,

Sounds good to me!
To clarify, this particular offer is only for articles about one of the new Deck Clinic formats. For example, imagine articles with titles like "Back to the Basics - Preparing for a Fellowship Block Tournament," "Return of the King Sealed Deck Strategy," "Broken Combos for the Open Format," etc.
But as a more general matter, tournament advice can definitely make up a valid article submission. Just be sure that what you have to say goes deep enough that our more experienced readers won’t be bored. |

Is this for specialized formats? Or is it for block and open and all the other types too? |

I believe it is block and open and such. If no one else objects, I’d like to write the Standard Lotr article. |
