Add to it, "This format is not designed to solve all the problems of overpowered decks and NPE decks, but simply remove auto-win cards, extremely broken card combinations, and infinite loops from the play environment."

Errata’d Cards, courtesy of Foresight:

3 •The Faithful Stone Gondor
Condition • Support Area
Tale. Gondor tokens on this condition cannot be reinforced.
Each time a non-Wraith minion is played, you may exert a Gondor Man add a Gondor token here.
Maneuver: Remove 3 Gondor tokens from here to spot a minion. That minion cannot be assigned to a skirmish until the regroup phase. Discard this condition.

1 •Whisper in the Dark Men
Condition • Support Area
To play, spot a Men minion and a follower. Note that follower’s title.
Response: Each time a follower with the noted title is transferred to a companion, you may spot a Men minion to exert that companion.

1 Destroyers and Usurpers Orc
Event • Maneuver
Spot 2 Orc minions to choose one: make a companion lose all defender bonuses and cannot gain defender bonuses until the regroup phase, or make the fellowship’s current site gain battleground until the regroup phase.

With Whisper in the Dark, I think no. Just make a rules change that followers cannot bear cards unless specifically noted.

But its still too hard NB. Need to say free peoples follower for a start or it needs to be unique as 4 of these is just horrid, or this on saruman.

I agree with FS on D&U, needs to be an event. And also agree on the faithful stone, thats fantastic errata FS.

Frenzy of arrows need to say free peoples follower again, remove the +2 to start with and just make it +1 for each follower.

The keyward needs 2 vitality and cannot bear mounts.

I dont have any idea on making gothmog less stupid.

Erkenbrands shield needs the cancel skirmish bit removing. Full stop. Broken.

X elven armaments and perspective.

Grond needs to say remove revealed cards from game.
Ban shampoo, demand real poo.

Possession • Hand Weapon/Shield
Strength: +2
Vitality: +1
To play, bearer must not be bearing any possessions. Bearer must be an Elven companion.
Bearer cannot bear any other possessions.
While a unique companion bears this possession, each minion skirmishing bearer is strength -1.

6 •Gothmog, Morgul Leader Orc
Minion • Orc
Strength: 15
Vitality: 3
Site Number: 4
While you can spot another Orc minion, the fellowship and minion archery totals are +3.
Regroup: Remove 2 to play an Orc minion from your discard pile (Limit once per phase). That minion is exhausted.

I really cant see the point i erratering the armaments. Its just crap. X it and use swords of the fallen. Much better.

Gothmog is good yeah but if you exhaust the minon you can remove the limit thing as the burden adding guy would not be a problem.

with elven armaments make it the minion archery total is -1.
with gothmog make it exert him twice and cut the exhausted part. then a single wound by the freeps can stop it.

Forgot about that.

You guys are trying to errata to fix everything. We really shouldn’t be doing that. Some cards that are broken just need to be banned, lest we change the whole flavor of the card.

Anyway, here’s what I have

At the moment thats all but i think x-ing the armaments is just easier.

If you want to look at past sets x the smith and x forced march.

Reduce keywards vitality to 2 and make him not bear mounts.
Ban shampoo, demand real poo.
